The most well-known place for Asian food in Amsterdam is in Chinatown, located around the Zeedijk. The Amsterdam Chinatown is the oldest Chinese neighborhood in Europe. The first Chinese restaurants were based in Chinatown in the first half of the twentieth century. De Japanner is located in a small restaurant on the Albert Cuypstraat. De Japanner is open until after midnight, which is unique in the Netherlands. Bo Nam
For some of the best Vietnamese food in Amsterdam you can visit Bo Nam. Vietnamese food is more popular than ever in the Netherlands. Bo Nam is a hidden gem in the Lange Leidsedwarsstraat. This Vietnamese bistro is also somewhat like a French bistro. There are starters, foods to share and main dishes. Bo Nam is popular among the Vietnamese people in Amsterdam, which is always a good sign.

Fou Fow Ramen
Ramen is the perfect comfort food. Fou Fow is known for its delicious ramen, but also serves other dishes. You can choose from different kinds of stock and toppings to make your personal ramen recipe. There are plenty of vegetarian options, the vegetarian stock is some of the best. Fou Fow is popular, but if you haven’t made reservations but still want to enjoy some ramen, you can order some and take out.

Koh-I-Noor
In the city center, close to the Dam, you can find Koh-I-Noor: a tradional, low key Indian restaurant. It is not the most fancy restaurant in town, but probably the best Indian food. It was one of the first Indian restaurants in the Netherlands and it has a rich history. The dishes are prepared according to traditional methods with only fresh ingredients. If you close your eyes in Koh-I-Noor, you are in India for a moment.
